Post Custom Cameras & Video Editing
Hey lads,

Well, for the last couple of weeks I've wanted to know more stuff about moviemaking and replay editing and such, and wanted to ask if some of you lads know something about how to make custom cameras, and also I'd like to know if any of you guys a really good video-editing program that has 0 cost and that's nice (because I'd like to upload 720p videos, instead of just the 480p of WMM, and also I'd like more effects and such), and if so, how did you get it.

Thanks :P

I don't use anything other than the TM mediatracker and built-in video recorder. It renders HD just fine :P

As for merging multiple videos into one and applying the most primitive effects, and adding music, I would advicse VirtualDub. It's free of charge, but it really doesn't do much more than I've mentioned. ^^

For decent TM videos you only need MediaTracker, VirtualDubMod and Audacity.

Edit video in MediaTracker, audio in Audacity and then merge them in VirtualDubMod.

Oh, and download http://sourceforge.net/projects/x264vfw/ and use it as the codec while rendering.

Hmm, the mediatracker seems to be against me, because when I click on the replay line, there's an option o edit it (put block or something), to put effects and such, but whenever I select one of those it says "couldn't add the block" so, is there any way I can make that work ?

Also, got me the trial version of Sony Vegas 10.0 and have been seeing some tutorials, which helped me a bit as well.

Kay, finally I understand how the mediatracker works, got my personal cameras right and already rendered a 720p replay, now I just need to ask my coach how to do those alienistic effects and such :P

Also, thinking of making a CMC vid if I get good enough :D

Don't worry about the CMC vid, you won't become good enough. It requires perfection.
